MyAgencyCenter is a revenue-sharing, Web-based solution that provides a complete agency-to-agent marketing platform. It allows the agency to present a cohesive Web strategy to its marketplace. It begins with a professional-looking Web site that demonstrates to the market the agency is Web proficient.
Next, it provides a central communications location, the Agent Portal, as the single stop for agents looking for company or product information. If utilized correctly, it becomes the daily go-to place for their agents.
Finally, it provides the agency with an agent Web site replication tool. The replicator not only helps to extend the agency’s brand through hundreds, or even thousands of Web sites, it also provides a systematic selling solution for its agents.
It has three core components:
- Corporate Web Site Builder: Allows the user to manage a Web site with our easy-to-use Creatasphere™ content management system. IdeaStar creates graphic design templates including CSS style sheets for the Web site and then inserts it into Creatasphere™. Afterwards, the agency builds out the content for the Web site, inserts appropriate keywords and title tags, and manages future updates to the pages.
- Agent Portal: A central communications site for your agents or distributors. This is where the agency can present news, events, calendar, marketing materials, contracts, product info, training center and more.
- Agent Web Site Builder: Allows an agent to build a personal Web site using the agency’s corporate brand. Along with the Agent Portal, the replicated agent Web site is part of a collaborative selling solution for the agency and agent.
Product Background
MyAgencyCenter is the culmination of nearly 10 years of development. One of its components, the Agent Web Site Builder, first appeared in 2000 as part of QQLink. It was called GalaxyBuilder and was used as an agent Web site tool for about 4,500 agents. It ran for about 8 years until bought out by a competitor. We also built Web site replicators for AHCP and Insuranti.
The Agent Portal is a standard solution for IdeaStar. It has appeared in custom variations for QQLink, AHCP, Insuranti, WellCare, UAFC, and many other insurance customers.
Our Creatasphere™ content management system was developed by IdeaStar in 2003. It powers many of our client’s Web sites and it is built for fast deployment of new Web sites. It takes less than a week to design a custom Web site and prep the design template for the content manager. Customers love its ease of use and capability.
Product Platform
All of the three core components of MyAgencyCenter are built on the Microsoft .NET software platform and uses SQLServer 2008. The solution is hosted at a Tier-1, bio-metrically secure Internet facility. It provides uptime of 99.9% and performs daily back-ups.
