Web Site Tester

Innovative, award-winning Web development company seeks tester to help ensure the excellence of our Web sites and e-business applications. We’re looking for a picky, detail-oriented, and passionate person to help throughout the development life cycle by completely analyzing the client’s requirements, developing test plans, and writing and executing test cases. This position is for a mid-to-entry level tester. Experience is helpful but we will train the right person.

Responsibilities include:

• Working with project managers and the client to articulate the client’s requirements and specifications for a project.
• Developing test plans and writing test cases.
• Executing tests and documenting results.
• Advocating quality throughout the development life cycle.
  

• Two-plus years experience in testing or quality assurance preferred.
• Familiarity with written software requirements and/or specifications preferred.
• Ability to understand technical requirements and concepts.
• Knowledge of Web standards, technologies, and terminology.
• Meticulous attention to detail.
• Advanced troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
• Ability to multitask and work on multiple projects simultaneously.
