Business Analyst

Innovative, award-winning Web development company seeks business analyst to assist in the planning and execution of multiple Web sites and e-business applications. You will be involved in the entire development life cycle of multiple projects as a subject matter expert, client advocate and project leader. You will work with clients at the beginning of a project to identify their needs and create a written business requirements document. You will then use that document and your knowledge to serve as subject matter expert for the other team members, and you will follow the project through design, development and quality assurance to ensure satisfaction of the client’s requirements.

• Working with project managers, the sales team, and the client to identify the client’s requirements and articulate those in written functional requirements and specifications.
• Communicating business requirements to the entire project team.
• Developing test plans and writing test cases.
• Providing end-user documentation and client training where needed. 

Qualifications include:

• Two-plus years experience in business analysis preferred.
• Demonstrated experience writing software requirements and/or specifications preferred.
• Experience in or exposure to the insurance industry preferred but not required.
• Demonstrated ability to understand technical requirements and concepts.
• Knowledge of Web standards, technologies, and terminology
• Ability to multitask and work on multiple projects simultaneously.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• High level of professionalism and ability to work with clients and within a team.
