Job Description:

We need an Interactive Web Designer who is very creative, is up on the latest trends in design and technology, and is looking for plenty of opportunity to design and build cutting-edge Web sites for our customers while working with a dedicated, supportive team of project managers, programmers, and network administrators.

Responsibilities:

• Create design prototypes, including graphic design, site navigation, and layout of content for our customers.
• Ensure layouts are accessible, logical, easy to navigate, and conform to usability guidelines.
• Create visual concepts that match the content and the brand wanted by the customer and fit within our internal design guidelines.
• Meet with clients to discuss Web site design requirements including brand issues, level of interactivity, navigation and functionality.
• Work with Project Managers and Creative Director to review work schedule, deadlines and job requirements.
• Prepare functional prototypes for presentation to the client.

• Associates or college degree in graphic design or visual communications preferred, as well as two to four years of experience in Web design, of which a minimum of one year producing table-less, XHTML, standards-compliant cross browser, and gracefully-degrading code.
• Must demonstrate exceptional skill in PhotoShop, XHTML/CSS, and a thorough understanding of standards compliant development techniques.
• Knowledge of JavaScript, PHP, and dynamic HTML as well as experience with Macromedia Flash.
• Knowledge and demonstrated experience with cross-browser and cross-platform issues (IE, Firefox, etc).
• Superior knowledge of current web-design trends and techniques, a strong on-line portfolio displaying user-centered design.
• Ability to work within the Linux PHP, Microsoft ASP and .NET development platforms.
