A New Web Project for Fomo

August 1, 2007 -  Fomo Products Inc., one of the largest global manufacturers of polyurethane foam in pressurized, disposable and refillable packaging, has selected IdeaStar Inc. for its latest Web project. - expanding its training and certification program onto the Internet. The work includes page design, the integration of a media player, and data base development.

The program, University of Fomo, is currently available and widely used on CD. It is used to train distributors on the key features, benefits and proper installation of Fomo products.

FOMO Marketing Manager Sara Anderson explained why the company chose to move the University of Fomo to its Web site. “The decision was made primarily because of the (IdeaStar) content management program that we use for updating our Web site. It enables us to make changes on the fly to Fomo University whether we add a new product to our line or feature a new application,” she said. “It makes the process of updating the program much easier, faster and cost effective over the long run.”

IdeaStar previously redesigned Fomo’s Web site over a year ago. And, added the content management system to allow non-technical FOMO staff members to keep the site up-to-date. “Which is why we hired IdeaStar for this project, “ Ms. Anderson said. “We are pleased with their work.”

Fomo is headquarted in Norton, Ohio with a Spray Foam Production Facility in nearby Akron, Ohio.
