IdeaStar was the technology developer of the ground-breaking QQLink online insurance system. Launched in 2000, QQLink was the first quote-thru-issue underage health insurance application submission system. It presented many features still not found on other similar sites including rate plan quoting, association benefit plans, e-signature, policy issue and customizable agent Web sites. QQLink was a revolutionary moment in the insurance industry and we are proud to have been a partner in its evolution. Today, nearly every insurance consumer sale site can trace its roots to QQLink. It was copied by many insurance companies but few are able to match QQLink's performance.

We have built several new marketing platforms based on the QQLink model. These include platforms that produced $100m+ in sales of underage health products, agent appointment/contracting systems for fields that have more than 20,000 agents, affinity plans with over 10,000 plan options and many other breakthrough solutions.

Since QQLink, we’ve undertaken many projects for well-known carriers and large agencies. For many of them, we won national awards for excellence. These include being a three-time A. M. Best E-Fusion award finalist and a Best of PIMA award winner.

Web Site Solutions

IdeaStar provides full-featured Web applications common to most Web sites. These include a content management system (CMS), an e-commerce shopping cart, hosting and site marketing services.

Our CMS, called Creatasphere, was first developed in 2003, and helps our clients maintain and manage their Web site from the convenience of a Web browser. It can build and maintain simple-to-complex Web sites including sites with multi-languages, multi-divisions or companies. Best of all, it is very easy-to-learn and use. It doesn't require coursework or a steep learning curve.

Our e-commerce solution, ecFusion, gets our customers up and selling online quickly. We use a best of breed sales cart platform and build custom enhancements for you. It includes a full shopping cart system, credit card processor and hacker protection.

IdeaStar has hosted sites for over 10 years. Our hosting client list includes many large enterprises which process transactions in the millions of dollars. We provide several hosting options for our clients including Tier-1 service.

One of IdeaStar's earliest services was in search engine optimization. That has grown to include planning and execution for a wide array of search and social media marketing systems. These include search engine marketing, blogs, social media sites like Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and LinkedIn. We operate our own video and podcasting studio.
